IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ Review

Thanks to Sephora’s Spring Saving’s event a few weeks ago, I was able to do a makeup haul while saving some money on products that I’ve been really wanting to try. I’m finding myself more concerned and careful with my skin and the products that I chose to use. Not to say that I’m vain, but I am of the age where I should take better care of my skin.

This CC+ cream has been on my radar for a while now. Before this find, I’ve been just using a regular foundation on my face, sometimes with a setting powder, sometimes without. I rarely prep my skin with any creams prior to applying the foundation as I find that the extra product tends to make my makeup crease and run more. I’m also notorious for not putting on facial sunscreen too. Daring, I know, but I’ve made it a point to be honest on my site, so don’t judge. In fact, I’m so honest that I’m even willing to post a photo of me with no makeup as a comparison to show you my skin before and after. I’d also like to share with you, in the interest of honesty, that before my self-discoveries, a photo without makeup from me is rare. So it’s a double good thing.

About the Product:

The product claims to be a color-correcting cream that provides full, flawless coverage and protects skin with a broad-spectrum physical sunscreen. It is clinically shown to increase hydration, smooth texture, and enhance brightness. The breakthrough formula never creases or cracks and instantly camouflages skin imperfections, including dark spots. Plus, it’s infused with an advanced anti-ageing serum made of hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, and antioxidants that work in harmony to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and pores to create a more radiant, supple, and flawless-looking complexion.

IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Shade Medium Tan

About my skin and application method:

I have normal to dry skin with blemish dark spots all around the face and my undereye circle situation is intense. I also have places along my T zone that are redder than the rest of my face. In applying this product, I used one pump on a foundation brush and dot it evenly on both sides of my face. Then I blend and buff it all out.

Right out of the shower with clean skin with freshly blow dried hair.

I’ve been using it for about two weeks straight and I love how light weight it feels. It literally does what is promised, and from the before and after photo you can see that it does a great job covering red and dark spots. It also give a nice natural dewy glow, which I can’t complain. I also love the formula and how well it covers. One pump and it’s able to cover my entire face, but it’s also buildable just in case there’s a spot that needs a bit more love. Because my skin type is normal to dry with minimal breakouts this specific product is great for me, but if you have oily skin IT does make an oil-free option.

I most definitely can see myself using this product as part of my daily routine. Especially in the summer thanks to all in one sun protection!
